Member Since: 2012 I have been a member of this group of car guys for just over one year now & been to many shows. It has been fun since my truck has mostly been a garage hog its life from Long Beach to Hesperia & now back in the LB. Working on my new house here a lot leaves very little time for a drive, so when at Home Depo & people stop to talk & look at my truck while I load drywall, concrete bags, 2X4’s & other crap in the back ask why would you do that? They would never do that! Well when you know your truck & what it can and can’t do, what the hell. Drive it like ya stole it! (just without a load in the back) 1965 Chevy long bed truck. The color is a school bus yellow with a bit a orange added with camel gold flames and pin-striped with dark blue lines. Candy Pearl white roof. The truck was bought by my uncle Jimmy in 1990. Since then I bought the truck & took out the old 3 speed trans for a 350 auto. Installed a tilt Colum shift, power steering, 2” drop spindles, disk brakes, power brake booster, front & rear drop springs, rear mount aluminum fuel tank, no spare, new bed wood & cover, roll pan with hidden hitch, seat, interior, sub & on & on.
